A crash involving a jackknifed semi-truck and a dump truck on Tuesday morning has resulted in the shutdown of all westbound lanes of Southern Boulevard and a hospitalization.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) said that they responded to reports of the crash at 6:05 a.m. at Southern Boulevard and D Road.
When PBCFR arrived, they reported finding a jackknifed semi-truck and a dump truck that had crashed.
Officials said that one person was transported to a hospital.
As a result of the crash, all westbound lanes on Southern Boulevard are currently closed.
Travelers in the area can expect delays and detours, particularly from Big Blue Trace to Binks Forest, as the clearing operations are underway.
Motorists are advised to consider alternative routes or postpone travel in this area to avoid congestion.
