The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after one person was killed in a shooting late Saturday night at an apartment complex near Naples Manor.
Investigators were called out around 8 p.m. to the Crest Community.
The Collier sheriff and fire department received a call for help at The Cove at Naples Apartments near Southwest Boulevard and US 41.
Once law enforcement arrived, they say one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say the person was shot inside a unit in the back of the complex.
CCSO says there is an active investigation into the shooting.
No further information about a possible shooter has been released at this time.
