Shooting leaves two dead, suspect injured

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A Saturday afternoon shooting left two dead and the suspect injured in Palm Beach County.

At 3 p.m., Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) deputies say they responded to a shooting on the 3700 block of Nokomis Ave., where they located two men dead from a gunshot wound.

The suspect, who sustained minor injuries, was located and transported to a local hospital for treatment, per PBSO.

Deputies say as soon as the suspect is medically cleared, they will be taken into the custody of PBSO detectives.

The identity of the victims and the suspect has not been made public by PBSO at this time.

Deputies note that there is no threat to the public at this time.
