Silver Springs man dies after motorcycle crash

A 43-year-old man from Silver Springs is dead after crashing his motorcycle into a concrete mailbox and fence early Friday morning.

According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, the 43-year-old man was traveling northbound on Southeast 183rd Avenue around to the left just south of Southeast 26th Street just before 12:30 a.m.

The man drove off the roadway and hit a concrete mailbox and fence.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
