EMS responded to a small aircraft incident at Pensacola International Airport on Sunday, according to the Pensacola Police Department.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. when a small general aviation aircraft, with four people on board, crashed into the tree line just north of the runway on airport property.
The Pensacola Police Department reported minor injuries associated with the incident, but the extent of these injuries remains unclear.
There were no casualties. Ambulances and PPD are currently on the scene.
Matt Caughlin, PNS executive director, stated he has no information at this time but has agreed to an interview with WEAR News once more details are available.
The cause of the incident and further information about those involved have not been disclosed.
According to a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), runways 8 and 2-6 are currently closed.
