South Florida Man Arrested for Allegedly Sharing Explicit Photos with Minor

A 26-year-old South Florida man was arrested on accusations of sharing explicit photos with a teenage girl.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest, carried out by Homestead police, was made on Friday following an outstanding warrant from Monroe County.

Authorities say the suspect, identified as Rafael Felipe Bajos, engaged in sharing nude and sexually explicit images of himself with a 16-year-old girl from the Florida Keys via social media and text messages.

Further investigation into the text messages revealed that Bajos attempted to arrange in-person meetings with the teen.

Bajos was arrested on charges of transmitting harmful information to a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and the use of a computer to seduce, solicit, and lure a minor.

The Sheriff’s Office has stated that Bajos is awaiting extradition to Monroe County, with a bond set at $120,000 as stipulated in the warrant.
