A house caught fire in south Fort Myers on Sunday afternoon.
The house, along Pickadilly Court, caught fire around 3 p.m. on April, 20.
The family that owns the home said they just left church and were out for lunch when they received a call from the sheriff’s office to say their home was on fire.
The owners said they didn’t even have the chance to move into the house yet.
Crews found the fire in the attic of the home when they arrived.
There was severe structural damage throughout the house.
No one was home during the fire, but the family who lives there has been displaced.
