St. Pete bicyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run: Florida Highway Patrol

The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for the driver who struck a bicyclist in Pinellas Park late Sunday night.

A 20-year-old man from St. Petersburg was struck on 62nd Avenue near 42nd Street at 11:05 p.m., according to a release from FHP.

He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Based on debris found at the crash site, Troopers determined the suspect vehicle is a dark colored Toyota sedan.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call *FHP or Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
