Sun City Center Boulevard closed after crash involving pedestrian, deputies say.

Drivers are urged to use alternate routes.

Anyone who’s driving in or to the Sun City Center area in Hillsborough County – heads up.

Three eastbound lanes on Sun City Center Boulevard are closed due to a crash Sunday night, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. 

Deputies say the crash involved a person walking near the road. 

Drivers are urged to use alternate routes. 

The sheriff’s office has not yet said if anyone died or was hurt in the crash, or how many cars were involved in the collision. 

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
