Suspect arrested after attacking man in Homestead: Police

A man was arrested after he attacked another man in Homestead on Thursday, police said.

Homestead police responded to the 300 block of West Mowry Drive for a report of a man with a severe neck and head injury.

The victim was flown to the hospital, where he is now in stable condition, police said.

Police said an investigation revealed that the suspect, UB, “had a physical altercation with the victim and after arming himself with a weapon he caused the severe injuries that the victim sustained.”

B was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
