Suspect in custody after man killed, Cocoa police say

 A man died on Sunday after 911 operators received a call about a person being “attacked,” according to Cocoa police.

Police said they received the call just after 11 a.m. regarding the incident that happened on Friday Road.

According to a news release, the victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the suspect, who is known to the victim, is in custody.

According to the release, the investigation is ongoing.
