A school bus headed to Gulfview Middle School in Collier County was involved in a vehicle crash, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Friday.
CCSO says that at around 8 a.m. a school bus and small SUV collided. The SUV rolled over. They add that three patients from the SUV were being assessed.
The Collier County School District told Gulf Coast News that two students were on board the school bus at the time of the crash. They added that one student’s parents chose to transport their child for medical evaluation and treatment.
