South Walton Fire District Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Monday near the area of Indian Woman Road in Santa Rosa Beach.

Officials said a call reporting a home and nearby wooded area on fire came in at 1:40 p.m.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they reported a fire and heavy smoke were impacting a mobile home and spreading into the woods.

We are told that pine straw on the roof of a neighboring home was also catching on fire.

Once crews confirmed all occupants were out of the structures, they worked for an hour to extinguish the flames and mitigate hotspots.

Fire officials said no injuries were reported, and investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
