Teen dies in early Saturday morning crash in Flagler County

A Palm Coast teen is dead following an early morning crash in rural Flagler County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The SUV was traveling eastbound on Quick Street at about 12:17 a.m. and it headed into the westbound lane towards a ditch with

water, the report said. It struck the ditch and overturned, and the 17-year-old male driver was pronounced dead.

The report said that the driver and five other passengers were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. A 16-year-old boy also received minor injuries from the crash.
