Teen, man shot while selling vape pens in Casselberry, police say

A teen and a young adult were shot while trying to sell vape pens on Sunday, according to the Casselberry Police Department.

Multiple agencies responded to the area near Howell Branch Road and Lake Ann Lane around 8:20 a.m. regarding an aggravated battery involving a weapon.

Upon arriving, Casselberry police officers made contact with two victims who were injured.

A 19-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with injuries to the chest and left arm.

A 17-year-old was treated by the Seminole County Fire Department and had minor injuries.

The victims told police they saw the suspects, who then fired shots into their vehicle. The victims fled the area in a vehicle but crashed nearby.

The suspects ran from the scene on foot, according to police.
