Telangana student dies in Florida jet ski accident.

A 27-year-old student identified as Venkataramana Pittala, who was pursuing his Masters
degree in the US, died in a jet ski accident in the state of Florida on March 9, reports said.

Venkataramana, who hailed from Kazipet, was a Masters student at Indiana University
Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and was set to receive his degree in May.

As per local 10 news, the crash occurred at around 12.30 pm at Fury Playground, near
Wisteria Island. Another 14-year-old boy, who was driving the other personal watercraft,
was not injured.

Jet ski is a personal watercraft and is also called water scooter, on which an individual can.
sit or stand on the top of the craft and ride. As per Florida’s Fish and wildlife conservation
commission, one has to be at least 14-years old to operate a jet ski.

According to reports, his friends and family are raising money to transport his body back to
India for final rites. His friends created a GoFundMe account to raise money.
