Multiple people were injured after a motel room on Hospitality Street went up in flames Thursday morning, according to the Tallahassee Fire Department.
TFD said the incident unfolded just before 9:30 a.m. after firefighters responded to the Red Roof Inn, located at 2930 Hospitality Street. The state fire marshal responded just before 10:15 a.m.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire in one room, according to TFD.
However, the fire department said two people were taken to a local hospital and two others were flown to a second hospital.
Smoke damage was also left in multiple rooms.
The state fire marshal is investigating.
