Five people were displaced after a house fire Saturday in West Palm Beach, according to the American Red Cross.
Red Cross Disaster Action Team volunteers responded to the fire on 22nd Street West and provided assistance to three adults and two children affected by the blaze.
The organization said it is providing emergency financial assistance along with health and mental health services. Volunteers are also helping the family connect with available recovery resources and additional assistance for needs caused by the fire.
The Red Cross did not provide details about what caused the fire or whether anyone was injured.
Disaster Action Team volunteers respond to emergencies around the clock and provide families with immediate support, recovery information and other assistance following fires and other disasters.
Additional information about the fire was not immediately available. CBS12 News has reached out to West Palm Beach Fire Rescue and will update this article when more information becomes available.
