Three illegal immigrants are accused of a horrific crime in Palm Beach County— capital sexual battery on a minor under the age of 12.
On Thursday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said the following three men were arrested on multiple counts of lewd lascivious behavior on a minor:
- Selvin Lopez-Lopez
- Erick Lopez-Lopez
- Jesersson Lopez Lopez
PBSO said the suspects were from Honduras who entered the country through the Mexico border. While they share a last name, PBSO did not indicate whether they’re related.
Following an investigation, detectives saidSelvin and Erick crossed the Mexican border illegally in 2021, and both turned themselves in to Border Patrol. They were told to call for a court date but never showed.
In 2023, Jesersson, crossed the border and was given a court date for 2028, PBSO said.
The three men are being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on no bond.
