Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Escambia County.

Troopers say the incident occurred at 1:50 p.m. at the intersection of US 29 and Bluff Springs Road when a silver Ford Explorer, driven by a 63-year-old Century woman, was traveling northbound on US 29 while a white GMC Terrain, driven by a 43-year-old Flomaton man, was traveling eastbound on Bluff Springs Road.

The GMC Terrain attempted to cross all travel lanes of US 29 but failed to yield the right of way to the Ford Explorer, leading to the collision, according to FHP.

Troopers say the GMC Terrain had three passengers: a 41-year-old woman, a 12-year-old boy, and a 27-year-old woman, all from Flomaton.

All individuals involved sustained minor injuries.
