Three teenagers injured in crash on the Hathaway Bridge

Three teenagers from Panama City have been transported to a local hospital after a single-vehicle collision on the Hathaway Bridge on Tuesday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, around 8:00 P.M., a red Ford Mustang was heading westbound on U.S. 98 along the Hathaway Bridge.

The vehicle lost control, spun across multiple lanes, and struck the curb, which caused the vehicle to overturn. The Mustang then collided with a tree, where it came to a final rest.

Officials say all three occupants were transported to a local hospital, with two enduring serious injuries, and the passenger in the backseat sustained critical injuries.

There were no other vehicles or injuries reported in the collision. The case is currently under investigation with the Florida Highway Patrol.
