Three-vehicle crash in Indian River County at State Road 60, 66th Avenue injures two.

Two people were taken to hospitals following a Tuesday morning crash east of Interstate 95, according to emergency officials.

Indian River County Fire Rescue crews were called at 6:35 a.m. to the crash at State Road 60 and 66th Avenue, according to Assistant Fire Chief Bill Herrington. The crash involved three vehicles, he said.

The most seriously injured person, a man, was driving a landscaping truck and trailer. He was taken to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce. The driver of one of the other vehicles, also a man, was taken to Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach.

Part of the intersection was closed temporarily, according to Indian River County Sheriff’s Capt. Joe Abollo.
