Fire damaged a home in the Tice neighborhood in Lee County Tuesday morning, leaving six people displaced.
The call came in at 10:13 a.m. for a structure fire on Howells Circle Drive. Fire officials said the blaze started in the kitchen and spread, involving about half of the home.
Crews from both Fort Myers and Tice fire departments responded.
According to the Fort Myers Fire Department, four adults and two children have been displaced.
Homeowners were on the scene as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames. Crews reported the home is not livable, though no other nearby houses were impacted.
No one was inside the home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
