Tractor-trailer carrying trash topples over, blocking part of Pasco County road

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A tractor-trailer carrying trash left a messy situation after it toppled over and blocked part of a Pasco County road on Friday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a Tampa truck driver traveling on Interstate 75 exited onto State Road 52 and failed to negotiate a turn.

The truck overturned, spilling trash into part of the road and the median.

The driver, a 48-year-old man, suffered minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.

No other information was immediately available.
