The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash on State Road 20 on Friday morning.
According to a news release, a 45-year-old man from Manchester Pennsylvania was driving a tractor-trailer east in the outside lane of State Road 20 approaching the intersection of NW County Road 12.
The traffic light of State Road 20, east and westbound turned red.
A 31-year-old man from Bristol Florida was driving a pickup truck and had the green light to travel north. As he began to travel north the tractor-trailer entered the intersection after the light turned red.
As a result, the front of the pickup truck collided with the passenger side of the tractor’s trailer, officials said.
After the collision, the tractor-trailer began to overturn, causing its load of pine tree logs to fall onto the eastbound lanes of State Road 20.
Officials confirmed no one was injured in this crash.
State Road 20 has now reopened.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office and Liberty County EMS.
