Traffic on Buckman Bridge eased after crash on I-295 at Old St. Augustine Road caused heavy delays

7:23 a.m. UPDATE: Two southbound lanes on I-295 near Old St. Augustine Road have reopened.

7:40 a.m. UPDATE: The scene of the crash has been cleared, as delays on the bridge are expected to ease shortly.

A crash on I-295 at Old St. Augustine Road Wednesday morning is causing heavy delays for drivers on the Buckman Bridge traveling towards I-95.

Three southbound lanes are currently closed in the area, however, the express lanes on the interstate remain open.

Florida Highway Patrol says the crash involves injuries.
