An accident near the intersection of County Road 484 and Interstate 75 has caused traffic congestion in the area on Monday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol and Marion County Fire Rescue personnel responded to reports of a traffic accident near the popular interchange at around 6:03 a.m. on Monday, November 10.
Although details are currently limited on the extent of the accident and any related injuries, the incident has caused congestion along the westbound lanes of CR 484.
According to an individual passing through the scene, westbound traffic was still restricted to one lane as of 7 a.m.
