A train and an ECUA garbage truck collided in Molino Tuesday morning, sending one person to the hospital.
It happened on the 5500-block of Fairground Road near Highway 95A around 9:45 a.m.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, an ECUA Garbage Truck was traveling east across the train tracks going north through Fairground Road, while the train was traveling northbound on the tracks.
FHP says that’s when the front right of the ECUA truck collided with the front left of the train. The ECUA truck was then pushed to the left of the train tracks facing north at final rest.
The ECUA driver suffered minor injuries, while the train conductor wasn’t injured.
