Sheriff’s deputies launched an investigation into a pickup truck versus train crash in Bradford County on Thursday that injured one person.
Bradford County Sheriff’s deputies say a CSX train collided with a vehicle on Northeast 179th Street, north of the fairgrounds.
The driver of the truck was flown to UF Health Shands Hospital for treatment of traumatic injuries.
All traffic on the roadway was blocked as deputies conducted the investigation. Members of the public were asked to avoid the area.
