Tri-Rail train crash kills pedestrian

First responders rushed to the scene where someone was reportedly struck by a train Sunday night.

Around 6 p.m. paramedics were called to the 1700 block of Lake Worth Road, but re-routed multiple blocks north to 7th Avenue and Barnett, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

One person was found and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash was reported on the Tri-Rail tracks.
