One person is dead after a fatal crash involving a car and pedestrian, the Florida Highway Patrol announced.
Troopers responded to a crash on Woodlawn Drive and Wildewood Springs Boulevard around 5:35 a.m.
According to FHP, a person was driving a Hyundai Sonata on Woodlawn Drive when they ran over something.
The driver got out fo the vehicle and found a person who had fallen and was lying in the road.
The person was pronounced deceased.
