Truck hits FPL utility pole, crashes into home in Port St. Lucie

A vehicle struck an FPL utility pole before crashing into a home on Monday, according to the Port St. Lucie Police Department.

Police said the crash happened near Morningside Boulevard, shutting down the street due to a downed power line and damage to the home’s garage door.

Video from the Slcscanner shows what appears to be a white pickup truck that crashed into a home. A huge law enforcement presence, including fire rescue, is at the scene, video shows.

Police say there were no life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. They added that there were no signs of driver impairment and believe it may have been an age-related incident.
