A man from Lake City was hit and killed on Tuesday morning while riding a bicycle.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a truck towing a trailer exited Interstate 75 onto State Road 47 near Lake City around 8 a.m.
As the truck turned right onto the state road, the vehicle hit a cyclist headed south on the crosswalk.
The cyclist, a 64-year-old man, died at the scene.
