Two drivers seriously injured in Taylor County crash Wednesday, per Florida Highway Patrol

A crash in Taylor County early Wednesday morning left two drivers seriously injured, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash unfolded just before 7 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Holt Road and Puckett Road, FHP said in a press release.

A vehicle was traveling east on Holt Road at the intersection of Puckett Road. A second vehicle was traveling south on Puckett Road at the intersection of Holt Road.

The first vehicle ran the stop sign at the intersection, which then caused the second vehicle’s front center to collide with the first vehicle’s left side, according to the state agency.

The driver of the first vehicle was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, FHP said.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to Doctor’s Memorial Hospital.
