Two fatalities in Boynton Beach car crash

Two people were killed in a car crash in Boynton Beach on Friday night, according to the Boynton Beach Police Department.

The crash happened near Hypoluxo Road and Paxford Lane at a little after 9:00 p.m.

Two others involved in the crash remain in critical condition.

According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, “heavy extrication was required.” Three trauma alert patients were transported from the crash scene by ground to a Trauma Center. One person was pronounced dead on scene by paramedics.

It is not clear what led up to the fatal crash.

The Boynton Beach Police Department is actively investigating and is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Officer Alexis or Officer Paramore at 561-742-6147.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims during this difficult time,” the Boynton Beach Police said in a statement.
