Two hospitalized in North Fort Myers mobile home fire

Two people were hospitalized as a fire broke out at a mobile home on Breeze Drive in North Fort Myers Tuesday morning.

The North Fort Myers Fire Control District confirmed this. This is in Suncoast Estates. The fire district said one person was airlifted and the other was taken through ground transportation.

Gulf Coast News is at the scene, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, fire trucks and Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC) are on scene. North Fort Myers fire said the Bayshore Fire Protection and Rescue Service District and the Fort Myers Fire Department are on scene as well.

According to neighbors, two people got burned and were rolling on the grass.

The state fire marshal is investigating.
