Two people were injured when a car crashed into a laundromat on Bahia Vista Street Monday, Sarasota Police said.
It happened about 11:30 a.m., at the business near the corner of Bahia Vista and U.S 41.
Investigators say the driver pressed the gas instead of the brake and drove into the business.
Two people inside the building were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said.
