Two separate crashes into buildings around Palm Beach County

Firefighters were busy doing the same thing in two different locations Saturday in Palm Beach County.

Two separate car crashes into buildings left two patients in trauma alert and five trapped in an apartment.

Around 10:30 a.m. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a car that struck a building at the 1100 block of 12th Avenue South in Lake Worth Beach.

Five people were trapped inside the apartment that the car hit, fire rescue was able to safely extricate them.

From the incident, one person was transported to a trauma center, the other to a local hospital.

Crash #2 Forest Hill Blvd. and Maypop Road

A vehicle was thrown off the roadway into a building after it collided with another vehicle around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Forest Hill Boulevard and Maypop Road.

Two people involved in the crash were transported to local hospitals.

No one from inside the building was injured.
