Two Flomaton residents are seriously injured after a crash involving two pickup trucks in Escambia County on Monday morning.
Troopers say the crash occurred on Tedder Road around 5:45 a.m. when a westbound pickup truck, driven by a 50-year-old Flomaton man, failed to maintain a single lane and collided with an eastbound pickup truck.
The second pickup truck was driven by a 37-year-old Flomaton woman.
The impact caused the first vehicle to overturn and come to rest on its passenger side in the middle of the road, according to FHP.
Troopers say the second vehicle came to rest on the south shoulder of Tedder Road. Both drivers sustained serious injuries.
A 7-year-old male passenger in the second vehicle was not injured, according to FHP.
The crash is under investigation.
