Two people have minor injuries after a crash in Panama City.
The Florida Highway Patrol says it happened at 7:40 p.m. on Friday. They say a Nissan was traveling eastbound on County Road 3030 (N. Lagoon Drive) at the Laurie Ave intersection and a Jeep was traveling westbound on N. Lagoon Drive also at the Laurie Ave intersection. The Nissan reportedly failed to observe the Jeep turning left on the intersection. They say the Jeep was unable to avoid the collision causing the right side of the Nissan to be struck by the front of the Jeep.
FHP says the Nissan rotated counterclockwise and rolled into a grassy ditch where it came to rest facing west. They say the Jeep was able to come to a controlled stop on Laurie Ave facing north.
FHP tells us the driver of the Nissan and the passenger inside were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.
