Two people were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Corkscrew Road at Whidden Loop Road in Collier County.
The crash involved a dump truck and a car. Gulf Coast News spoke to the driver of the dump truck who said two people in the other vehicle were taken to a hospital.
The road is now open on both sides. All lanes of Corkscrew Rd. at Whidden Loop Rd. had been closed since 6:50 a.m., according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
A tow truck and the Florida Highway Patrol are at the scene.
