Units respond to two-car rollover crash and fire in Destin, one flown to hospital

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — First responders are on the scene of a serious two-car crash in Destin Friday evening.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at the intersection of Emerald Coast Pkwy (Hwy 98) and Trista Terrace Ct.

Destin Fire Rescue reported the accident as a vehicle rollover. One vehicle looks to have caught fire. Multiple people were taken to the Fort Walton Beach ER as “trauma alert patients.” One person was flown toSacred Heart Pensacola.

Currently, all westbound lanes are closed, according to OCSO.
