Deputies say people heard gunshots ring out around 6:16 p.m. on the 7900 block of Rouse Drive. At around 6:20 p.m., deputies got to the scene.

They say an 18-year-old was fatally shot in the head. A friend identified him as G L. He was a father.

A 16-year-old teen was also injured during the shooting. Deputies thought they were shot in the leg but it turned out to be road rash.
