A vehicle sand electric bicycle rider crashed in the parking lot of the Knights Inn along Tamiami Trail, leaving the bicyclist with non-life-threatening injuries, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies said the bicyclist was flown to Sarasota Memorial Hospital as a precaution.
Officials emphasized that the injuries were not serious and were considered non-life-threatening.
