One person was hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a house in Lake Worth Beach on Tuesday.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) said units responded to a vehicle accident near 500 South E Street at around 11:45 a.m.
At the scene, emergency responders discovered a vehicle had veered off the road and collided with a column on the exterior of a house.
One person had to be taken to a local hospital as a result of the crash, according to PBCFR. There were no other reported injuries.
The building department has been notified to assess potential structural damage to the house, while the Florida Highway Patrol and Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting an investigation into the incident.
