The vehicle fire was reported at 12:48 p.m. before Mile Marker 106, near the Beeline Highway exit, according to Florida 511.
The closure was last updated at 12:56 p.m.. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes as emergency crews work to address the situation.
Photos from traffic cameras show a heavy presence of first responders while traffic is at a standstill.
