A semitrailer caught fire early Tuesday in Seminole County, forcing the closure of Interstate 4.

The fire broke out around 1 a.m. on I-4 west near the Lake Mary rest area.

Seminole County Fire Rescue said two people were inside the tractor-trailer when the fire started, but no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

All westbound lanes of I-4 were closed in the area, but they were later reopened.
