Dashcam video shows the moments a driver crashed into an Amazon tractor-trailer on I-75 in Hillsborough County.
The Florida Highway Patrol says this happened after 7 p.m. Tuesday when two 18-year-old Wesley Chapel men were driving southbound in a BMW “operating in a reckless manner” in the inside lane.
Troopers say the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to go into the outside center lane and hit the Amazon-branded vehicle.
Video from a witness’s vehicle shows the BMW crashing under the trailer, causing it to jackknife before it came to a stop in the center median with the BMW pinned under it.
The two 18-year-olds and the Amazon driver, a 49-year-old St. Cloud man, were not injured in this incident.
