Video shows woman wanted for robbery in Plantation

Keith Louis said he poured his heart into Coastal Provisions, based out of Plantation. Surveillance video shows how the growing small business recently took a big blow.

It’s a family business, so his son signed after receiving a delivery on Tuesday morning. He sells snacks such as gourmet cookies and candy to local luxury hotels.

“I am doing this and supporting my family and everything and I have a $3,000 swing in my business that I can’t show any profit of,” Louis said. “Makes it tough. It’s disheartening.”

Surveillance video shows when a heartless woman decided to steal the boxes. She looked at the invoice. She checked the boxes. She walked around and packed the 22 boxes into her blue car.

“It’s candies and treats and that’s how I survive. That’s my business,” Louis said.

He founded Coastal Provisions last year. The loss comes just days away from opening his very own warehouse.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
