A Villager was arrested after he allegedly attacked a man walking a dog who peed on a pole near his home.
RJT, 62, of the Village of Lake Denham, was arrested Thursday on a charge of battery.
T was apparently enraged when he saw the dog urinate on a light pole near his home on Kenneth Street, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
T, who stands 6 feet tall and weighs 240 pounds, was armed with cutting shears, when he confronted the dog walker and attacked him. The dog walker had to fight back to defend himself.
T later told deputies that the dog has been a problem for two years and that the dog walker had been warned.
T was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.
